BUGS

If you're experiencing a problem with one of our software products, please fill out and submit the following bug report form. You may also want to check out our list of known problems. You will also want to check if your problem has already been solved in an update by checking the revision history page

If what you want to tell us is really more of a suggestion or a request for enhancement, please use our suggestion form instead.

This form is intended for non-critical problems. If your problem requires immediate attention call us at (626)810-8031 or for e-mail us at companywebmaster for personal e-mail response.

Bug Report Form

When you submit your bug report, it will be entered into our database for tracking purposes. We will usually respond via e-mail within two business days.

 Periodically we will post notices regarding bugs reported by our customers in the Known Problems section of this page, and tips or workarounds on the FAQ page.

Please be as specific as possible when describing the problem.

  1. Product is Having the problem?
    Running On Other:
  2. What specific version, for example 2.0.52?

  3. Please enter a brief one-line description of the problem:

    (example: "Reservation Confirmation Doesn't Print")

  4. If the problem is reproducible, please list the steps required to cause it,
    leaving a blank line between steps:

    (example: "1. Create a new Reservation. 2. Try to change the Contact Person...")

    If the problem is not reproducible (only happened once, or occasionally for no apparent reason), please describe the circumstances in which it occurred and the symptoms observed:

    (note: it is much harder, sometimes frankly impossible, for us to fix non-reproducible bugs)

  5. If the problem causes any error messages to appear, please write down the exact text displayed and enter it here:

  We may need to contact you for more information, such as if we have trouble reproducing the problem you describe.

Known Problems

The following is a list of some known problems with our software; we are working to correct them for the next release.

  • When just typing in a name into the field extra 'save changes' messages are generated. It is recommended to instead define valid persons in the person table in the admin menu and then select from the drop down list.
  • Using the '...' buttons on the reservation confirmation form can cause problems if the underlying table has no records it is recommended to add a few entries using the Admin menu first
